Our Director - Charlotte Jackson
Charlotte Jackson's musical journey began at the age of four, nurtured by her family and community. She excelled in music competitions and participated in various musical groups. Her passion led her to Concordia University, Nebraska, where she received a full-tuition scholarship and graduated with distinction.
Following her undergraduate studies, Charlotte pursued a master's degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy at the University of Houston. She gained valuable teaching experience and honed her skills under esteemed tutelage. She relocated to Mountain Home in 2023 with her husband Aaron, who recently took a position with Redeemer Lutheran Church as Director of Parish Music
Currently, Charlotte serves as the K-12 music teacher at Norfork Public Schools where she directs the high school band and choir. Over the course of a year, she will teach music to every kindergarten through eighth grade student at Norfork. Her dedication to music is evident in her preparation of the Mountain Home Symphony Singers. Her and her husband Aaron have been an asset to the Symphony.
